(Mexico, 1957, lives in London), artist and activist. His practice, predominantly sculptural, shows an interest in pre-Columbian art and Mexican mythology, as well as his evident experience as an industrial engineer. His work tries to address the lessons of past cultures and the impact of technology on the environment. He is a founding member of Calpulli Tecalco, a non-profit organization based in Mexico City, which seeks to preserve the Nahuatl language and the environment in San Pedro Actopan. Among his individual exhibitions, "Mechatronics Circus" stands out.
