She was born in Buenos Aires in 1941. There she studied at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Manuel Belgrano. From 1958 to 1961 she lived in Mexico City, where she studies at Universidad Iberoamericana and The Ciudadela’s engraving workshop. She has her first solo show in Mexico City. In 1964 she travelled to New York, where she lives. Her work ranges from engraving to photography, painting, art objects, installation and video. She is represented by: Galería Ruth Benzacar in Buenos Aires; Galeria Brito-Cimino in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Sicardi Gallery in Houston, Texas; Hosfelt Gallery in New York and San Francisco, USA; Galería Espacio Mínimo in Madrid, Spain; Galería Casas Riegner in Bogotá, Colombia; Petrus Gallery, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Secrist Gallery in Chicago, USA: Her work is included in international collections, among them: Museo de Bellas Artes, Museo Metropolitano de Arte Moderno, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo of Buenos Aires, Bibliotéque Nationale in Paris; Museo de Arte Moderno in Bogotá, Colombia; Instituto de Cultura de San Juan, Puerto Rico; La Casa de las Américas and Instituto Wilfredo Lam of La Habana, Cuba.
