Writer, designer and curator. Bouman works in the fields of architecture, visual culture and politics. He was editor in chief of the magazine Archis located in the city of Amsterdam. He has taught history of architecture at the Amsterdam Academy of Art . He has co - edited the encyclopedic manifesto The Invisible in Architecture, an interdisciplinary study of the social circumstances of contemporary architecture. It was co -curator of the third edition of Manifesta.
