(Mexico, 1974, she lives in Mexico City). She is a curator and art historian. She received an MA in Visual Studies from the California College of the Arts (San Francisco). She is currently director of the El Eco Experimental Museum (National Autonomous University of Mexico, UNAM) in Mexico City. She served as adjunct curator of the 8th Mercosur Biennial, 2011, which takes place in Porto Alegre, Brazil. She has served as curator in different exhibition spaces in Mexico City: La Panaderia (2000-2001), Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil (2001-2003) and the Museo Tamayo Arte Contemporáneo (2004-2007). Some of her exhibition projects include: "The Nature of Things", "1st Biennial of the Americas in Denver", Colorado (2010); "Xilitla. A project by Melanie Smith and Rafael Ortega "(2010-2011)," Asterism. Artists based in Berlin "(2006)," Jesus Rafael Soto. Vision in Motion ", co-curated with Tatiana Cuevas (2005-2006). She has also carried out curatorial projects and trials for international institutions such as Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin; Proa Foundation, Buenos Aires; GAMeC, Bergamo and Piano Nobile, Geneva. She collaborates regularly in contemporary art publications.
