Transdisciplinary Artist. Trough installation, performance, video and clothes, Ranchito (Roxana Rodríguez Andrade) explores topics related to myths and contemporary fantasies in pop culture, the tianguis, the childhood and textile resistances. She holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree from Escuela Nacional de Pintura Escultura y Grabado (ENPEG) “La Esmeralda” and also a degree in Communication Science from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Currently, she is manager in the project Ranchito Espacio, located at La Lagunilla, Mexico City. Co funder of the project Kashé y Shirotta (2018-2021), Resident of the program Tiempo Compartido (2021), at Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil (MACG), Resident of the third edition of the Festival Hello World (2021) in the Museo de las Culturas. Has been part of the exhibitions El año de la rata (2020, Pandeo, Mexico City), Pixeles activados (2021, Casa Equis, Mexico City), Teléfono Descompuesto (2021, Espacio Arterial, Mexico City), Criaturas del Neo Gotto (2022, Estudio Croma, Mexico City). Has collaborated in the performances Fortuna (2019, Metro CDMX), Una Transición Extraña (2020, TOPO), Climax capricornio (2021), and Fantasías clásicas de poder (2021, Museo de las Culturas, Mexico City).
