Architect and artist. He was coordinator of Mesa de Metrópolis Digital from the Strategic Metropolitan Plan of Tecate-Rosarito-Tijuana. He has been professor at CENTRO university in Mexico City, at the Architecture School in Universidad Iberoamericana in Tijuana, San Francisco Art Institute and California College of the Arts and at Rennes 2, in France. In 2011 he was elected for the Cátedra Cultura de México at Harvard University. In 1995 he founded Torolab a collective territorial research atelier/laboratory, the objective is to develop strategies to improve the standard of living of the Tijuana habitants. He is also part of Tijuana Innovadora.
