She obtained her M.A. in Museum Studies at Leicester University, and her, B.A. in Communication Sciences, at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She works on contemporary art inclusive strategies for different publics at art museums and galleries, and outside them, specifically young people and non-frequent visitors. She has participated in the Visual Arts Festival of Campeche in three editions. She also created and directed the Guanal Arts and Sciences University Museum, in Carmen Autonomous University, in Campeche, Mexico. She is an independent curator and has collaborated in independent cultural magazines. She coordinated the postgraduate program from the Visual Arts department, at the Superior School of Arts of Yucatan (ESAY), co-leading the creation of the new Master in Arts academic program. She has taught both in the BA and MA programs in the Visual Arts Department.

Nowadays she is Head of Visual Arts Department in the Cultural Secretariat of the state of Yucatán.
