She received her BA in Visual Arts by the ENAP/UNAM, 1997 and her MA in Visual and Intermedia Arts by the Polytechnic University of Valencia, 2003. Ferreyra ins a FONCA grant recipient, three times for her postgraduate studies (2000-03), and twice for the young creator program (2000 and 2005). She has presented at numerous conferences and collaborated on numerous publications. She also curated exhibitions and participates, as an artist, in festivals and exhibitions. She has taught for ten years, the last four teaching art and research methods at the Universidad Iberoamericana's communications department.
