He is Artistic Co-Director of The Substation arts centre, and currently a visiting lecturer in the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies at Chinese the University of Hong Kong. He has lectured on art theory and cultural studies in Singapore at the LaSalle College of the Arts, the Nanyang Academy of Fine Art, and Temasek Polytechnic, and has organized a number of international regional arts conferences, and curated several exhibitions. Weng Choy has published widely on the topics of contemporary art, culture and Singapore.
